Call of Duty Campaigns have always been filled with twists and turns, and the reboot of the Modern Warfare series is no different. With the first two campaigns already completed, it’s time to kick off once again with the tales of Markarov. In total, there are 15 missions in MW3’s campaign. Some of the missions vary in length, with some lasting a few minutes to others lasting longer on larger battlefields.

It’s worth noting that Countdown is the ending level and kicks off directly after the Trojan Horse events. Consider it more of a micro-level / prologue event to conclude the storyline.
How Long is M3 Campaign & Time to Beat?¶
The MW3 Campaign Length can be completed in around 4 or 5 hours, depending on the difficulty you set. Recruit and Regular difficulty settings can complete it in that time period, while Hardened and Veteran can expect the game to last a few hours longer.
However, unlike other CoD campaigns, there’s more incentive for players to look for collectibles. Anyway looking for achievements and trophies can replay missions and do specific challenges. In addition, some of the mission names are called OCM, aka Open Combat Missions. These levels are packed with hidden weapons and Armaments, which are basically killstreaks. If you happen to find them all in certain missions, you can spec up your loadout for missions and do missions slightly different than the storyline loadout you are given. So, you can get an extra few hours in the game looking for these weapon and armament drops and doing other achievements to get an extra few hours out of the MW3 campaign.
