Best Longbow Class in MW3¶

To equip your sniper rifle with the best class setup, you will want the following.

• Secondary: Renetti or WSP Swarm
• Tactical: Battle Rage or Stims
• Lethal: Semtex
• Field Equipment: Dead Silence
• Gloves: Marksman Gloves
• Boots: Lightweight Boots
• Gear: L/R Detector
• Vest: Overkill Vest or Infantry Vest

The Renetti is a nice burst-fire side arm, with decent damage. You may want to use this for quick execution if you shoot a target, but they are still going. It’s also handy if you’re not too great at quickscoping and need it for any short-angle pushes. The tactical of choice should always be something to heal you, such as Battle Rage or Stims. TTK and healing refresh is long and slow, so adding heals is handy for kill streaks. Meanwhile, the lethal is Semtex just for the versatility of flushing areas out or sticking it to someone.

Moving into your gear, the perks you want are ones that give you better aiming accuracy for scoped weapons, ones for better movement around the map, and the L/R detector for quick scope enthusiasts. Being able to find out if someone is aiming at you with L/R Detector is a great way of returning fire with your sniper and one shotting them.
