The third tier of camos in the recent Modern Warfare games are some of the illustrious-looking skins, showcasing how deep in a grind you are. And, for the MW3 Zombies mode, the Serpentine Camo is exactly that skin. The green and yellow camo will be one to watch to know if you have a Zombies player deep into a grind. However, with the challenge requirement of multiple objectives, it can take time to get. Here is how to unlock the Serpentine Camo in MW3.

How to Get Serpentine Camo in MW3¶
To unlock Serpentine Camo in MW3, players must complete the following objectives.
- Unlock the base camos for a MW3 weapon in Zombies.
- Complete all four Base Camo objectives to unlock Golden Ivory Camo.
- Complete the Golden Ivory Camo.
- Reach a certain amount of Golden Ivory Camos across a gun category to unlock Zircon Scale Camo Challenges.
- Complete 36 Zircon Scale Camo Challenges to Unlock Serpentine Camo Challenges.
- Complete the Serpentine Camo Challenges.
Like the Polyatomic Camo, Priceless Camo and the MW2 Zombies skin, the Arachnida Camo, you are going to need to complete a lot of weapon challenges to reach this stage. Due to the nature of requiring 36 completed Zircon Scale challenges, it means you are going to need to grind through each weapon category in the Zombies mode and progress the challenges to get that far.
For the most part, base camo challenges are simple tasks, while the Golden Enigma Camo typically requires a number of kills and then successfully extract from the mission. Meanwhile, the Zircon Scale Camo requires you to get a specific amount of kills with your weapon using the Pack-A-Punch on it to upgrade it. It’s a lot easier of a task to do when you can bring your own loadout or the DMZ-style inventory, so you can always work on the gun, so get the money you need to upgrade it, get the kills, and when things start getting hard, dip out when you can and extract to ensure you get your gun back.
Then when all that is done, you can then work your way through the Serpentine Camo Challenge. The Serpentine Camo Challenges typically require a set number of kills against Elite or Special Zombies. These Zombies are much more common in higher threat-level areas on the map. Going in there with intentions to pick off the Elites and Specials with a squad willing to go in with you is certainly helpful. So, ensure you get the kills and have allies assist you to get through those numbers much easier.
Once you have unlocked your Serpentine Camo on a MW3 weapon, you need to do this for another 35 other weapons, as that is the task that will allow you to unlock the Borealis Camo.
