Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Best MCW Class & Loadout in MW3

By
Shane Williams

The MCW is one of the best Assault Rifles available in Modern Warfare 3 due to it having little recoil, amazing handling, and fast fire rate which makes it good at gunfights at both long and close range. Having these options is a must in MW3 as the majority of the maps are very large. If you want to get the most out of the MCW then here is the best MCW Class and Loadout.

Recommended Loadout for the MCW.

Best MCW Class in MW3

To make the best MCW Class in MW3, players are going to need to do the following:

Type Name
Secondary Renetti
Tactical Stun Grenades
Lethal Breacher Drone
Gloves Scavenger Gloves
Boots Running Sneakers
Gear Ghost T/V Camo
Vest Infant Vest

The MCW by default is a great weapon for those who prefer to play aggressively because of its high damage output, low recoil, and amazing handling, but you can make it even more overpowered by using the following loadout. We’ve been using this loadout since the launch of MW3 and we’ve managed to complete matches with an extremely high K/D on multiple occasions. You’ll want to begin your loadout by selecting the Infantry and the Running Sneakers, as this will give you an additional bonus of the Lightweight Boots which increases your movement speed. Doing this will result in you having improved Tac Sprint and increased mobility which is useful because you’ll be running around the maps a lot with this weapon.

If you have the MCW setup correctly, then you’ll find that you should be staying alive for longer which means you’ll eventually run out of ammo, so we recommend that you equip Scavenger Gloves because this will allow you to resupply ammo from all the enemies you defeat. Unfortunately, UAVs will be active in the majority of the matches you play, so you’ll want to make sure that you have the Ghost T/V Camo equipped as this will prevent the UAV from detecting you which is a must if you are playing more aggressively otherwise your opponent will have the advantage of knowing your location. Moving on, you’ll want to make sure you combine the right Tactical, Lethal, and Secondary with the MCW to improve your chances of survival out on the field.

For the Secondary, you’ll want to have the Renetti Pistol for its burst firing capabilities, because if you find that you need to reload the MCW mid-gunfight, then switching to the Renetti will be a good alternative. The Tactical and Lethal are more down to personal preference, but we suggest you bring along the Stun Grenades because you’ll be able to temporarily blind your opponent before you enter the building and you’ll also want the Breacher Drone as it can be used as a distraction.

Best MCW Loadout in MW3

To make the best MCW in MW3, your attachments and build will need to use the following:

Type Name
Optic Monocle CT90
Barrel 17.5“ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
Underbarrel Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip
Muzzle LR4 Flash Hider
Magazine 40 Round Drum

(1 of 2) Using these attachments

Using these attachments (left), will allow you to take out groups of enemies. (right)

We’ve chosen the Monocle CT90 because the Precision Sight Picture makes lining up your shots a lot easier but the optic is more of a personal preference. You’ll want the 17.5“ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel because it’ll increase the effectiveness of the MCW by 21.3% and will reduce Aiming Idle Sway and Firing Aim Stability. The Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip improves your Vertical Recoil and Gun Kick Control so you’ll have better stability when taking down your opponent. We recommend that you attach the LR4 Flash Hider Muzzle because it improves the recoil control even further and slightly reduces the amount of time it takes to ADS (Aim-Down-Sights).

Finally, you’ll want to equip the 40-Round Drum because it allows you to tackle more enemies without the need of constantly needing to reload. With the above attachments equipped, you’ll find that there is nearly no recoil which means your overall damage output in both close and long-range situations will be improved. You’ll also be able to super accurate with all your shots which will result in the enemies going down a lot faster and having the additional bullets will allow you to kill multiple enemies at once.
