inFAMOUS Second Son

Part 2

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Mission #1

The second part to the Paper Trail begins on the broken bridge connecting the northern set of districts to the southern set. When you reach the marker and begin the mission, you will once again have to follow Celia through a series of twists and turns. At the end, you’ll end up in Rainier and have to collect the origami dove.

There should be another crime scene below, as well as some enemies. Take them out and you’ll have to take pictures of five different things. Once you do that, it’s time to collect some evidence, so grab the key fob, the phone, and the note. With them all in your collection, head to the marker to sync it with your online account.

You will need to follow Celia once more, who will bring you to yet another crime scene.

This part is a little tricky, but start by investigating the Origami Dove #3, where you should see a number (F.A.N. No.) at the bottom of the page. Take this number and go to the DUP Intranet, where you can input that number (complete with the dashes).

Inputting it correctly will give you a report, as well as a connect the dots thing on the bottom. Obviously, start at #1 and keep going in numerical order, writing down the circled numbers you pass through on the way to the end. Go back to the DUP Intranet page and input that number to get another letter detailing the solution for the next part.

If you notice, it talks about the phone and key fob on the letter, saying to take the code on the fob and go up by 3 for each number. For example, a 1 would become a 4 and an 8 would become a 1 (it wraps around). Note that the code on the fob changes every 30 seconds, so make sure you quickly enter the new code. If right, you’ll gain access to a voicemail from Linda Kriley and the end of this mission.

Mission #2

You are told to go and meet with Linda, but when you get there, you find out she’s been killed. Take three photos of the crime scene (two of the body and one on the ground), then collect the evidence and sync it with your online account at the marker.

Yet another murder and even more photographs to take for your Paper Trail account.

When you get the new evidence on your account, you’ll see the photos and a notebook. Click on the notebook and you won’t see much, but one thing you will see is a URL for Linda Kriley’s site. After logging in with your Paper Trail account, you find the website has gotten a bit of a redecorating.

You should see numbers mixed in with the red lettering. Go through, in order, and copy the numbers (there’s 11 of them), then enter that number in the DUP Intranet like before. You will get a video, talking about Judge Paulson and there will also be a case number above the video. Take both of those back to the Linda Kriley site and input them in the boxes on the right hand side to finish this section of the overall mission.

Mission #3

Start the next part of the mission and you’ll be asked to find Marcus Paulson, the judge who ruled in the DUP’s favor, as in the video. When you get there, enter Eugene’s lair and you’ll find the judge’s body. Take the necessary pictures, then collect the evidence, and you’ll find Celia behind him. Grab the origami dove and then exit the lair to finish the mission.

It’s been seven years since the Cole McGrath episodes and the world has clearly changed. Anyone showing signs of being a so-called “bio-terrorist” is immediately handed over to the Department of Unified Protection (DUP) – a government agency created to ensure there is never a repeat of the catastrophic events of Empire City and New Marais. So Delsin, who has never been particularly respectful of authority, finds himself caught in the DUP dragnet, and decides he’s not going to go quietly.
