How to Reach Resort Rank Three - Dondoko Island¶
Resort Rank Three builds on the grind by introducing more systems to the side story. To reach the two new areas, the Lake and the Meadow, you will first need to build a bridge. You won’t need to gather any wood for this project, though. You simply need to go to the signs and choose to pay Kenzo 200,000 Dokobucks to build each bridge. The bridge sign for the lake can be found in the middle of Gachapin Beach, while the bridge sign to the meadow can be found at the end of Mukku Beach. The Meadow comes with another new enemy, the Dread Invader, who is armed with a chemical backpack and does high amounts of damage; it takes six hits to defeat him. It takes 700,000 Dokobucks to clear the Meadow. Each level of trash you clear will reduce this cost by 70,000 Dokobucks. You also must be builder rank 30.

The Lake doesn’t have any trash to clean up. You simply need to build the bridge and defeat the pirates. The new enemy in this area is the Dread Marauder, who uses a sword for powerful blows; he can be defeated in five hits. Defeating this group automatically frees up the lake, which is home to a diverse range of bugs, and the bridge in the center of the lake will have a recipe bottle appear on it each day. If you are finding the task of defeating enemies difficult, then add furniture to Ichiban’s house to get more hearts. By far, though, the most challenging part of this segment can be raising your popularity and satisfaction points to meet the new goal. You can place buildings for higher points. Buildings typically give both types of points, plus many have the ability to make Dokobucks when tourists are visiting your island. How to Increase Your Resort Popularity and Satisfaction to Reach Resort Rank Three¶
This time around, you will have the Dondoko Farm area unlocked, which provides you with the ability to mass farm resources. This will help you quickly raise your popularity points and gain money, as there is rare ore lying around the island opposite the Sujimon area. Additionally, the Meadow area provides a lot of room once it’s cleared of trash, giving you space to place larger buildings. Make sure to make use of Dondoko Farm’s Sujimon section to gain Sujimon levels and extra materials. The lake also has a high level of bugs for you to collect, and there are several new fishing spots that will become available on both Dondoko Farm and on the two bridges you build to reach the Lake and Meadow area. These areas contain fish that you couldn’t previously catch, making for easy popularity points.
What Unlocks at Resort Rank Three?¶
Resort Rank Three unlocks the final two areas, which are the Cave and the Forest. These are the most expensive areas to unlock, but they give you even more space to decorate. You will also gain access to the large version of waste dumps, the large chicken coop, and the donation box. Three more gardening kits will unlock tomatoes, onions, and carrots. Finally, you will receive 300,000 Dokobucks and $50,000 to spend on the mainland.
