Best Starting Weapon to Choose
Shipwrecked
There are a number of games that have New Game Pluses, where you can start the game over from the beginning, usually carrying over things from the previous playthrough. Mina the Hollower is one of those games, and it allows you to keep doing New Game Plus, all the way up to and including New Game +7. It is considered complete if you finish NG+7, but there will be different modifiers for each time you play through the game. Read on to find out what those modifiers are and how they will affect your game.
Your journey doesn’t end with just a single playthrough, as there is New Game Plus.
What Changes in New Game Plus¶
One of the first things that people will think of when they start a New Game Plus is that you keep items from a previous playthrough. That holds true here, to some extent, but it should be noted that some NG+ levels will clear the items, so you’ll need to collect your items all over again (if you want). Additionally, some games offer a harder difficulty, and that holds true here. Things like enemies, bosses and hazards will become more dangerous as you go through the NG+ ranks. Of course, the number of Bones that will drop will also increase each cycle you do.
However, Mina the Hollower will introduce different things beyond the normal as you rise the NG+ ranks. Some of the cycles will actually flip the world horizontally, as one example, while some of them can also shuffle not only item locations, but also Sidearms and enemy level stats. You will also notice that some cycles will limit the number of Underlabs (your checkpoints) that appear, with the hardest setting for that occurring at NG+7, where you will barely have any Underlabs/checkpoints.

Regarding the Stat Cap from NG+8 and beyond, it will increase by 3 per cycle, until you hit 50, which is the absolute maximum. That means you will need to reach NG+12 in order to get to that cap of 50 for stats.
