|Brute Masher, Golden Helm, Reflex|
Follow the path of green orbs to the north until you reach the blue orb and drop down. Continue to follow the linear path until you drop down again and are forced between a split with a red orb and green orb . Head near the red orb first to light up the area and then use it again to jump up.
Continue to follow the path until your reach an area with three smaller light blue portals and check each one to stockpile your Life Bottles, Apple Gels, and Orange Gels to max and then use the nearby rift to hop down.
Maxwell’s first form is a push over, so just damage him multiple times for scenes. As long as you have Elize in the party you won’t die due to damage, even on Hard difficulty.
After the event where Jude breaks through Maxwell’s barrier and Milla appears you will have to face the true Maxwell.
Boss: Maxwell (2)
Maxwell is still a push over, mostly using Soul Absorption to steal your TP while dealing no HP damage. This would be deadly, but due to his spamming it rather than doing any attacks it just ends up being a long fight or hitting him with your fist or sword or whatever.
Hopefully you have the skill Limit Fever equipped so that your skills cost 0 during Over Limit, which allows you to get a good combo of skills on him and deal a chunk of damage every once in a while despite having no TP.
When Maxwell gets low HP he will start to use Meteor Storm, which can prove deadly after a few goes if you don’t get a chance to heal. Use items if needed for Hp or TP to get off some healing spells or use skills that trigger Auto Aid.
You can Item Steal an Elemental Cape from Maxwell, which is pretty damn good.
