The Scream
Furia Puzzle - Unquenchable Fury
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has, like most Owlcat-developed games, always been a bit obtuse, rewarding players for exploring, talking to NPCs and generally seeking out adventure everywhere. The Void Shadows DLC is no exception, and the inquisitive may find freeform quests and loot worthy of a Rogue Trader in new areas added to the Voidship, like the Void
Shrine. This page will cover the reliquiary puzzle you can find by talking to Initiate Ziek in the Voidship Shrine in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader!

Solve Initiate Ziek’s Reliquary Puzzle¶
After you complete the prologue you’ll be in command of your Voidship. From the Voidship Bridge, exit to the northern edge of the map to get the option to travel to other compartments in the Voidship. Pick the “Voidship Shrine” to travel there, then find Initiate Ziek in the northeastern corner. Talk to him and pick the option ”What is this relic next to you?” followed by ”Open the reliquary.” to begin the reliquary puzzle!
Voidship Shrine Reliquary Puzzle Solution¶
To solve this puzzle you’ll need to pick one of the [Form the question in the orb] options as they are presented - there are four of them, and each one will present you with a riddle. Some Warhammer 40,000 knowledge may help you with this, but the riddles are somewhat obtuse to the point where multiple answers could be correct from a lore standpoint. You could also just try dumb trial and error - the dialog will let you know when you make progress, and if you fail, you’ll have to start over with no penalty.
Buuuuut… why bother when you have access to a guide: Here are the solutions to this puzzle’s riddles:
My light reaches everywhere. The greedy will see me in gold; the scholars, in Humanity’s cradle; but only the righteous will see me within their souls.”
- 1 [Form the question in the orb’s first quarter]: Throne.
I am within every human, and my loss is feared, for without me comes the end. But give me to the Emperor, and you will be eternal.
- 2 [Form the question in the orb’s second quarter]: Blood.
I am poison; I am perdition; I am disgrace. Burn me down, eradicate me, or perish rejected by the Emperor.
- 3 [Form the question in the orb’s third quarter]: Weakness.
In your body, mind and soul, you must possess me. I am no mere absence of stains, I bring you closer to Him.
- 4 [Form the question in the orb’s remaining quarter]: Purity.
which will allow the equipped character to give adjacent allies an extra turn if they end their own turn without using an ability.
Missionary Oath Stats¶
Solve the reliquary puzzle and you’ll get some XP along with Missionary Oath relic, which will give the equipped character the following boon:
- Once per combat, if the wearer does not use any abilities during their turn, they can end their turn to immediately grant all adjacent allies an extra turn with 1 AP.
An interesting item, to be sure, if you don’t have anything better for a character to do, they can effectively just camp out near their allies and give them an extra turn, albeit with only one AP to spare. Of course, this character has to be able to get adjacent to their allies, which may not always be easy or safe due to available cover or whatnot, but let’s be honest - not every character is equally useful, certainly not in every situation. Keeping this on a melee combatant can help a ranged character get more shots off early on, for example.
If you find a character wasting turns, you might want to strap this relic on them to add a new strategic dimension to their idleness - an interesting option, to be sure!
