This is it, the final boss. The ultimate test of, well, your patience really.

Phase 1 – In this phase you’ll need to disable the tertiary pods in the center console, the machine’s main attacks in this phase are the turrets rotating around the central construct that will target and unleash gunfire on you.

Phase 2 – once the tertiary pods are gone you’ll have to contend with crazies and a few miniature sentries.

If you need ammo or weapons:

You won’t be able to grab any ammo until phase 2 of this fight, when two compartments full of crazies will open. Deal with the three foes and then you’ll be able to hop in and loot the rooms.

Taking it out

If you have a laser rifle

Run forward to the center construct, to the right, then put your back to the console. Now points your laser rifle and the squishy person in the Hyron Project and pull the trigger. You’ll need just shy of one full 500 shot clip on ‘Give me Deus Ex’ difficulty. Concentrate the shot for a short time and boom, the boss is cooked. Enjoy your ending.

Places to easily grab a laser rifle –

-To the right of Tong in the ‘finding Sevchenko’ mission.

-In the cabinet to the left when exiting the elevator in the Namir boss fight.

If you don’t have a laser rifle

Prepare for a tough scrap. The first phase can be as difficulty or as simple as you want. You can either run up to the machine, dropping the pods and gunning the poor creatures down, this does make the extra encounters easier as you deal with them one by one rather than in quick succession. You can also do this from the security consoles on the outer rings by hacking or using their passwords.

The easiest way to finish phase 1, however, is to run to the centre and jog right. Facing the heart of the boss from the centre pillar is a security panel, input the code ‘2012’ and change the status of the tertiary pods, wiping them all out instantly.

Doing this does mean you’ll have to deal with three crazies to the left, a security bot, and three more crazies in quick succession however so use guns or chomp those energy bars and let loose the takedowns.

Once you get this far quadrants of the floor will start to electrocute as well, so run away! Hop up onto one of the raised corners to both avoid it and hide away from foes.

In the first crazy cubbyhole you’ll find a sniper and some ammo, grab it, and grab the gas grenade at the back as well (save that for later). Now hop up onto one of the corners, crouch, and take aim at the woman behind the glass. Start to fire at her.

Soon the second lot of crazies will emerge, you can take them out or let the floor do it. There will also be a mini security bot milling around but you can ignore it for now. Once you’ve used your shots and the crazies are gone drop down and investigate their prison for some sniper ammo and an emp grenade.

If the bot is annoying you pop the grenade at its feet and then get back to sniping. After you’ve used all your ammo the glass should smash, now all that’s left is to pop the gas grenade up to the previously shielded woman and choke the poor lass.

Enjoy your victory.
