How to Equip Outfits and Dyes¶
When you obtain a new dye and/or outfit, you can change them whenever you want. Simply, go to your “house”, interact with the wardrobe, and select the outfit/dye. Your house can be found in the following locations:
- Aecides’ Domain: Aran and Adso’s Camp - East
Besacarr Hamlet.
- Tok’s Kingdom: Aran and Adso’s Camp - East
Watchtower Domain.
- The Niveous Realm: Aran and Adso’s Camp - North
Winter’s Wall.
Note that depending on the context of the story, you may not be able to return to these places until you’ve done that part of the story.

The first Dye you’ll most likely find is the Aureus Dye in The Hollow Plain. It is located in the soldiers’ camp in the northeast corner of the map. Fast travel to the Kar-Lethel Wall Anvil and head northeast. In the open area, you’ll find a slope leading down to a Queen’s Soldier camp, where you’ll find the
Mayhem Warmonger miniboss.
Defeat the enemies around the camp and then make your way to the tents near the edge of the cliff. The chest containing the dye is behind the left tent. Here is where you can find it on the map: Map Marker.

Cavimo Rex, the Lord of the Crimson Fort. Note that you will lose the key if you leave the Fort, however, Cavimo Rex will always respawn, so you can obtain it again if you need it. Here is where you can find it on the map: Map Marker.

Arboreal Dye Location¶
