Asunder is one of the earliest good deeds you can find in Hell is Us. As players unlock Acasa Marshes, they will find a grieving man by a mass grave site. He is upset, but mentions he wants a religiously significant item. Players can find this item in Jova, and complete what should be a simple good deed. Here’s what you need to do.

To complete the Asunder Good Deed, you need to do the following:
- From the mass grave site, follow the sign to Jova on the west side of Acasa Marshes.
- Go to the northwest side of Jova when you enter the village.
- You should find some barricades guarded by some infantry along the backroad of town.
- Go over it and look to the right of the road. You should find a drunk soldier on a bench outside the local inn.
- In the corner by the door is an item pickup. Pick it up to collect the Letter - Worried Wife.
- Return the Letter to the Grieving Father by the mass grave where the APC parksin Act 1.
Handing over the letter lets the Grieving man finally bury his daughter and wife in a religious ceremony. This end the good deed and completes it.

To get the reward for this, you need to progress the main story a little. You will need to complete the Blacksmith of Jova lead. From there, you need to complete the Watcher’s Nest puzzle in a new map area called Vyssa Hills. Once you’re done, you unlock an NPC called the Vigil Elder, who can give rewards to you. Completing this Good Deed awards the Glyph - Shared Pain.
Also, there’s a nice touch that’s missable. If you load back into the Acasa Marshes after completing the deed, the map will update. Near the mass grave, slightly up the road from the APC road to the mass grave is a small grove with a tree. The Grieving Father will bury his wife and daughter under the tree. There will also be a note that too that you can read.
