Temple of the Fallen Door and Pressure Puzzles Walkthrough
All Good Deeds in Hell is Us
The Arcas Spire, or the tower you may know from your adventure through Senedra Forest is a location for players to grab the
Keystone of Terror. While the spire itself is fairly simple to navigate, the puzzle sequence near the end is rather rough. This walkthrough aims to assist you with solving the Arcas Spire pressure plate puzzle and open the right doors.
Look for various numbers on the wall indicating what the plate is. Then you can find statues to translate that tell you what icons match with the numbers around the level. Image via Gamer Guides / Nacon.
How to complete the Arcas Spire Pressure Puzzle¶
There are two big pieces to this Arcas Spire. There are optional doors with rewards attached to them, which are:
- Moon
- Eye
- Flame
Meanwhile, the main gate that progresses to the final stage of the Arcas Spire opens by activating:
- Skull
- Snake
- Tower
As you explore the Spire, you will see various letters and numbers on signs along the walls. Some will indeed explore to find behind hidden obstacles and between prison cells, while others simply need to go up some stairs. When you stand on these pressure plates, you will take quite a lot of damage.
Activating various pressure plates will allow you to run down the levers in the cages. The levers then open various doors. Image via Gamer Guides / Nacon.
When you’re ready, we advise you find the following:
| Puzzle Piece | Pressure Plate | Directions | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Moon | C1 | Go up the stairs and turn left and go up the next flight of stairs. Stand on C1 opens the nearby prison cells for Lymbic entities. Run down the stairs and get yourself to the moon lever. | |
| Tower | A1 | Go up the stairs then turn left. Go down that prison hallway section, and to the right you should find a prison cell open with a hidden tunnel leading to the other side of the rubble. Go through there to find the A1 plate. When activated, drop down from the ledge rather than running back. | Main Door |
| Flame | A4 | Go up the stairs and look dead ahead at the flame door. The left is the pressure plate. It also unlocks the prison cells next to it so you may get swarmed with Hollow Walkers. Stagger their deaths to heal, then stand on the plate again to reset the timer. Kill the remaining enemies to heal back up then activate the Flame lever. | Research item - |
| Skull | B2 | Go up the stairs and turn right. It’s up against the wall. It once again opens a cell for Hollow Walkers. | Main Door |
| Snake | F4 | go up the staircase on the right to reach the top level. It’s at the back wall near the door you need to open. Run back and drop through the holes in the floor and by the edge of the stairs to make time before the lever is shut off again. | Main Door. |
| Tower | C3 | Go up the staircase on the right. Run towards the back to enter a cell near the rubble and bypass it via a tunnel. Dead ahead is the C3. run back around to reach the tower lever. |

Also, there’s another section that is hard to get to for another reward near the main gate. To grab that glowing green item pickup along the corpse, you need to:
- Go up the stairs from the levers on the right.
- Run to the back and enter that hidden tunnel you went through for the Tower activation.
- To the right should be an open cell. Enter it and you’ll find a ladder
- Climb the ladder and you should be able to walk to the corpse and get the item.
- The item is
Signet Ring of Terror - Confidence. This gives you 15% damage absorption, 1500 Endurance, 20% melee damage. Remaining undamaged increases your damage even more. - It’s a very good defensive gear item.
This concludes how to solve the Arcas Spire puzzle in Hell is Us. You should now be able to reach the top of the tower and access the Timeloop. Defeat the guardians around the rooftop, and then enter and cast your Rho signature to fight the Keystone of Terror boss. You can now return it to the Lymbic Forge and complete another main objective of Act 2.
