Watcher’s Nest Puzzle¶
In summary you need to get the
Ceramic Flowers from the hidden tomb of Pentos Algae. Go through the area, and find the ladders leading downward. From there, pick up the item from the sarcophagus.

With the Ceramic Flowers acquired, you need to place 4 in the right spaces:
- In the room with the emotion symbols, go to the Grief symbol
- The Vigil logo when facing with the three order symbols
- The wall slot to the right of the order flag drapery in the main research room.
- Behind the whiteboard on the left. That is the Algae last name slot.
Placing the Ceramic Flowers in these slots will unlock the mechanism, allowing you to pull the lever in Pentos’ Tomb. This will open it up, and allows you to loot items inside the sarcophagus. It will give you some more clues to progress the rest of the act and main storyline.
For clarity, we’ll let you know how we came to these conclusions. In the main room, you will find a PC terminal that documents the research notes. There’s also the usable item that says you need to work out the name, title, order and year.
You can pick up the main pieces from the Tomb room. Read the statues to find out that Pentos was the Warden of Grief, and the one at the back of the Tomb tells you the year the order was founded. Now, take that information to the remaining wall puzzle pieces. You can then work out which corresponds to the year by looking at the whiteboard for the workings out.
This should help you work out how the main storyline puzzles operate with you finding clues in the environment.
