Good Deeds in Hell is Us are side quests involving the citizens of Hadea. These are normally started by either speaking to an NPC or finding an item while exploring. When either of these conditions is met, the Good Deed will get added to the Exploration tab in the menu.

Upon completing a Good Deed, you will need to speak to Gildas Brom in Vyssa Hills to get your reward, which is anything from Glyphs, Prisms, or Gear. The Golden Watch good deed is one of the first deeds you’ll unlock. Read on to find out how to complete it.

Good Deeds are the side quests in Hell is Us. Once completed, head to Gildas Brom for the reward.

Starting The Good Watch

When you enter Senedra Forest, head to the farmhouse and go into the basement, where you’ll find Ernest Caddell. Speak to him to hear about his tragic tale regarding his sons, and check the picture next to him to spot the Golden Watch. Now, you’ll need to find the Golden Watch to start the deed officially.

In Senedra Forest, make your way to the basement of the farmhouse.

Here, you’ll find Ernest Caddell who’ll give you a key to progress further into the forest.

Gold Watch Location

The Gold Watch is located deep within Sendra Forest, in the trenches. From the farmhouse, get the Key from Ernest to open the gate to enter the woods, and follow the Wind Chimes hanging off the trees to reach the APC, which is a main story objective. Save the game (next to the APC), and head west up the muddy slope before going north/northwest at the intersection.

(1 of 4) From the farmhouse, follow the Wind Chimes to reach the APC.

Continue north and you’ll reach the trenches. Follow the trenches past the save point until you reach an intersection. Take the right path and you’ll almost immediately reach another intersection. Take the left path, and you’ll find a small metal box on the makeshift table to your left. Interact with the box to get the Gold Watch, which starts the Good Deed.

Follow the trenches and take a right at the first intersection.

Almost immediately, go left to find a makeshift with a metal box containing the Golden Watch.

How to Complete The Golden Watch

Go back the way you came to get back to the farmhouse, where you spoke to Ernest Caddell. At the farmhouse, head over to Ernest and trade with him. This will open up the trade menu, where you can select the Gold Watch. Do so, and you’ll complete the Good Deed.

Trade with Ernest Caddell and select the Gold Watch.

This will complete the Good Deed.

The Golden Watch Rewards

To get rewards from Good Deeds, Mysteries, and Timeloops in Hell is Us is to speak to Gildas Brom in the Watcher’s Nest in Vyssa Hills. You won’t have access to him right at the start, so you’ll need to progress the main story until you do. Once you have access to Gildas Brom, speak to him, and select the option regarding Good Deeds, and if you have any to turn in, he’ll give you the rewards. For this particular Good Deed, Gildas Brom will reward you with the item below.

Type Item Notes
Glyph Waves of Grief Grief, Rank 1, Mechanic: Hold, Lock on: No, Cost: 30/s, Damage: 50/sec, Range: 10m. Power: Endless waves of grief energy spill out of your weapon, tormenting Lymbic Entities with heavy sorrow.

Speak to Gildas Brom at the Watcher’s Nest in Vyssa Hill to get your reward.

That’s it for The Golden Watch Good Deed, and it’s the first of many. This is one of the easier deeds to complete. Some deeds can be done in the same place you’re exploring, while others can only be achieved by coming back later on.
