The original Assassin’s Creed Black Flag may have launched before the franchise hit its (glorious) role-playing game era, but you still had ways to customize your playstyle a bit, largely in the form of trinkets. In addition to swords and guns (outfits are purely cosmetic), trinkets give you various boons when equipped, from earning more money and harvesting more animal bits to breaking through guard faster, taking less damage from redcoats and even absorbing bullets! This page will list all the trinkets in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, their effects, and where to find them!

Finding and Using Trinkets¶
Trinkets are found as loot in a variety of places - side quests (including officer quests and Local Events), buried treasure, treasure chests (above and below water), and in some cases, sold by merchants. Of course, this also means if you’re not a completionist, you probably won’t see all the trinkets the game has to offer, so if you’re looking for a specific trinket, you’ll be well-served by checking the list below.
You can equip two trinkets at any time and they can be equipped like any other piece of gear. Given how situational some trinkets are, it’s best to equip them anticipatorily - exploring shipwrecks? Equip the Diamond Trinket. Hunting animals? Equip the Exotic Sea Shells, and so on.
