Colonist Bunker (Sophie's Retreat) Location
Colonist Bunker (Quaker's Meetinghouse) Location
Another Colonist Bunker can be found within the vicinity of the Lifepod if you’re willing to dive somewhat deep into a cave. While it may not be the treasure trove of scans that some Colonists Bunkers near the beginning of the game are, the Colonist Bunker (Salvage) does contain a Biobed that will improve your dexterity, allowing you to carry an additional tool in a quick tool slot. This page will provide the location of the Colonist Bunker (Salvage) as well as any loot found within in Subnautica 2.

Colonist Bunker (Salvage) Location¶
Find the Angel Comb where you’ll obtain the Digestion Adaptation 160 meters north, northeast (between 15 and 30 degrees) of the Lifepod and from there look for a platform on the seafloor to the north. This platform is around 35 meters under the surface, and to the right of it is a current and to the left is a cave entrance - you can spot the cave entrance by looking for teal and purple plants.
Follow these plants down into the cave, ultimately descending to a depth of 70 meters, where to the west, northwest (300 degrees) you’ll find a passage. Swim down it until a short distance later you find a trench ahead. Turn left (south, southwest - between 195 and 210 meters) and follow the trench to find the red-glowing hatch leading to this bunker.
This can be a pretty lengthy dive, but once you descend the teal-and-purple plant covered shaft to a depth of 70 meters, note that you can find a Bloom Sap. This is to the left of the passage you’ll take to find the trench, and if you whack the top of the Bloom Sap with your Survival Multitool you’ll create an infinite source of oxygen, meaning you should be able to get to this bunker pretty much from the start of the game, if you’ve got the gumption to do so.
Colonist Bunker (Salvage) Contents¶
Opposite the hatch you’ll find a Biobed, which you can scan, of course, as well as interact with to improve your dexterity, adding another quick tool slot at the bottom of the screen. At this point in the game’s life, more inventory space would be a more welcome addition, considering there’s just not a ton of tools you need to make use of all the time, but it is what it is.
In addition to this Biobed you can find a Trashcan you can scan just to the left of it, a Repair Tool on a counter nearby and an S Shelf above said counter. A Habitat Builder awaits you in the northeastern corner of the bunker, while the ”Biobed - Enhanced Reprints” can be found on the floor near some bunkbeds to the right of the entry hatch.
