Wayshrines are one of several different secrets you can find throughout Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Interacting with them will give you a boost to one of your attributes and there isn’t any kind of complicated puzzle or task to solve.

Nine of these Wayshrines are actually a part of the Pilgrimage questline, which can be started at Anvil Castle. Speak to the white-haired prophet in the castle courtyard. Ask him about the Crusader’s Relics and he will give you the map of all the Wayshrines that can be found and prayed at.

The map of Wayshrines given to you in Anvil has some, but not all of the Wayshrines in the game.

These can be visited at any point in the game and you can either explore and complete each one in one go or check each one off as you explore the area and region they are located in.
