How to Get & Use Healing Potions

By
Vincent Lau

This page explains how to obtain healing potions and use them in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising.

Despite your best skills, you’re liable to get a few scratches and grazes during your adventures. At times like these, it’s useful to have some healing potions around.

How to Get Healing Potions

(1 of 2) After completing the relevant quest, the Apothecary will open at Second Street.

While you can find some healing potions from treasure chests, sooner or later, you’ll want to find a way to craft and/or buy them.

Halfway through Main Quest 6, you can unlock the Apothecary at Second Street by completing the Shop Quest “Apothecary Opening Day”. At the Apothecary, you can craft healing and other useful potions.

After crafting a potion type, you’ll gain the option to buy them wholesale (more expensive, but more convenient).

How to Use Healing Potions

(1 of 2) You can use healing potions and other consumables via your Stowpack.

You can use healing potions and other consumables via your Stowpack. (left), While outside a dungeon, you can move items from your Stowpack to your Storehouse or vice versa. (right)

As a reminder, you can access healing and other potions via your Stowpack from the menu. At the beginning, you can hold up to 5 potions and similar consumables at one time.

Whenever your Stowpack has free space, any new potions/consumables will automatically be placed there. Otherwise, they’ll be sent to your Storehouse.

You can swap items between your Stowpack and Storehouse whenever you’re outside a dungeon. While viewing your Stowpack, press Confirm (Joy-Con-ButtonA) on a free space to place an item from your Storehouse. Otherwise, press X (Joy-Con-ButtonX) on an existing item to return it to your Storehouse.
