The Hollow Plant boss is the enemy that will drop the Giant Branch

The Giant Branch is a drop from the Hollow Plant boss, found in The Great Forest. This is the first boss of the game, so it’s possible you might get a drop during that time, but if not, you can always come back to refight it. When you refight it, fast travel to the Great Tree Glade to be right before the boss. Note that the Hollow Plant will have a spider drop down on subsequent visits, which shoots a ball of web that can stop you in your tracks. You can either strike the ball of web with your weapon, or just avoid it all together.

For its normal attacks, it will shoot roots out from the ground, but these can be easily avoided thanks to the red markers that show where they come from first. It typically does the roots thing two or three times before it exposes its weak spot, some worm thing that crawls out of its mouth. Whack this weak spot, making sure to get ready to jump, since the worm will shoot an energy ball after a few seconds of being exposed.
