Points of Interest

  • A man can be found offering a secret deal: a Magikarp for 500 Poke Dollars. If it were Kanto, this deal would be terrible, but you can't catch Magikarp in Unova.

There are many new places you can head to, but a good place to start is Marvelous Bridge, which you can reach by heading east from Nimbasa City into Route 16 (covered in our Gym 4 section). Then follow the road towards the gatehouse.

If you came here earlier, the road ahead was blocked, but now you continue through, up the elevator and into the marvelous bridge itself. As with other bridges, there's not a whole lot to do here, besides heading to the other side.

Don't laugh: this is actually a great deal as you can't get Magikarp without trading.

During your first visit, you'll be onset by Team Plasma's Shadow Triad.... but stay your Poke Balls! These guys don't want a battle. Instead they hand you three rare items: the Adamant Orb , Lustrous Orb and Griseous Orb .

These hold items boost the power of the Sinnoh legendary dragons (and the Griseous Orb also has the added effect of transforming Giratina into its Origin Forme ). So keep them somewhere safe, as you're unlikely to get them again.

Like in Driftveil Drawbridge, you may see airborne shadows, which either trigger a Swanna encounter or cause you to pick up a feather. In any case, once you reach the other side, you can take another elevator back down, at which point you will enter the gatehouse to the next route, Route 15 .
