Unlike prior Pokémon games you don’t need to enter this particular cave to reach the other side. The cave doesn’t have much to hide and, considering you need HM Surf to access its inner workings, you won’t come back any time soon.

- When you have a Pokemon capable of using Surf, you can return here to access items you couldn’t obtain, plus trainers with Level 34 and 35 Pokemon.
As soon as you enter the cave, you’ll run into a battle with one of those dastardly Team Plasma types.
