Sniper Elite 5

Type 100

By
Paul McNally

Despite relatively weak damage capacity the fact the Type 1– comes with a muzzle brake fitted as standard means it is a great gun to use due to it’s lack of recoil. You can really just point and fire (rapidly) with only minor adjustments required.

The Type 100 is the only gun in the game equipped with a muzzle brake as standard.

Type 100 Pros and Cons

Looking like a hybrid between an rifle and an SMG, the magazine slots into the left hand side of the weapon system close to the front of the barrell which aids in the very high rate of fire capable by the Type 100.

Pros

  • Rapid fire
  • Minimal recoil kick

Cons

  • Weak damage

Audible Range

A 90m audible range is what we are looking at here which is about standard for guns of this bracket. Even though it is relatively noisy, it’s quick rate of fire can dispatch multiple enemies in a short period of time, even though it’s stopping power is far from the greatest.

Zoom

1x - All the SMGs here are only coming with 1x zoom so it really isn’t a factor. The way you are using them, you probably want to be shooting from the hip rather than looking down the sight anyway.

Magazine size

Same as the Pist.44 we are looking at a 30+10 capacity magazine here so it is lower than every other SMG alongside that one. Still plenty to get the job done, but may be worth bearing in mind if yu are the trigger-happy type.
