This quest is started at the Hawke Estate Writing Desk. Head to the Gallows and enter the Templar Hall but you should check the shops before heading in though.

Head into the Templar Hall and down the western hallway. Enter the second room on the north side to find The Enigma of Kirkwall , a sack , and a chest - complex . Speak with Meredith then Elsa to get the information you require.

Speak with Meredith and Elsa in the Templar Hall.

Head to Hightown at night and enter the De Launcet Mansion in the High Estates section. After the conversation raid the Mansion, start at the northeast corner where there are trap - master and numerous chests with Enchanted Light Gauntlets and a Qunari Sword .

Head to The Hanged Man at day and have a word with Emile de Launcet. You can either have him turn himself in or set him free. Head to Darktown next to find Walter just sitting on the ground. After the scene chase them into the Sewer Passage. Fight off the Rage Demons and Shades then head up to the north. Disarm the traps and then take on some more spirits. Check the crate in the corner and continue the path. There is a trap - complex at the top of the steps and a corpse in the next area.

Unfortunately, you will have to fight off Evelina who becomes overwhelmed by a demon. You can give Walter 5 sovereign or your happy wishes before you leave. Check the chest for Design: Rune of Devastation on your way out. Head to Lowtown next and enter the Elven Alienage to find Nyssa. After the conversation come back to the Elven Alienage at night time. After the scene kill Huon and the Shades that spawn then loot him for Fomula: Fell Poison and Boots of the Champion .

Enter the Alienage at night time and kill Huon and his demons.

Return to the Templar Keep and report in, afterwards you gain the quest 'A Small Problem'.
