Grasslands - Heroic Difficulty

Tangled Express - Three Stars

Map Type: Time Trial

Total Waves: N/A

Our Goal: Dispatch 250 units in four minutes

Note: The time limit is REALLY tight on this map. You can just about do it with no items on Heroic, but we really do advise bringing some long lasting items in to make sure you get three stars more easily.

Gatling/Machine Gun

Any Slow Tower/Polymorph



0 - 1 Minutes Gone

-- You'll start with $30 this time, so place three Gun Towers down in the same central places as before and upgrade them.

1 - 2 Minutes Gone

-- Swap out the central Gun Tower for a Flamethrower Tower to maximise your damage output in this key area.  -- If you hear the sound of a Medic about to arrive, select an item if you have any and when you spot the trail of Fieldrunners, drop your long-lasting item at the start of the pack to take them all out quicker.

2 - 3 Minutes Gone

-- Placing a Hive Tower near the top will soften up all units for a faster finish.  -- Keep using any items you have. Remember: In Time Trial mode, the quicker you dispatch one wave, the quicker the next one starts.

3 - 4 Minutes Gone

-- Plant loads of Gun Towers to cover the left entrance so they're picked off that much quicker.  -- Stick to this plan for to get those hard-fought three stars.
