Nightingale’s early access release is nearly here, and with it, players will be jumping between Realms in search of loot and monsters. However, due to the game’s technical demand, your PCs will need to be up to par to take on the challenges to come in the Fae wilds. Here’s a closer look at the Nightingale System requirements to ensure you can play the game.

Nightingale System Requirements Explained

You can find the Nightingale System Requirements below, based on the official Nightingale steam store data.

Part Minimum Spec Recommended Spec
OS Windows 10 64 Bit Windows 10 64 Bit
Processor I5-4430 / AMD FX 8350 I5 8600 / Ryzen 5 3600
Memory 16GB DDR4 16 GB DDR4
Graphics Nvidia GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 560, or Intel Arc A580 Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super, AMD Radeon RX 5700XT
Storage 70 GB HD 70 GB SSD
Internet Required Required

For the most part, the game requires somewhat fairly modernized parts but the game can still be played pretty well on budget PCs, or computers getting on the outdated time scale. If your PC is using parts from around 2016, then you’ll likely be on the minimum settings, expecting to play the game on low settings, lower resolutions, and getting around 20-30 FPS, depending on parts. The processor required for the minimum specs are also parts from 2014. So, you can have a somewhat budget CPU from ten years ago and just about hit the ballpark. The AMD suggestion was not listed on the official system requirements, but it is the closest in terms of release date and similar specs we could find for Team Red machines.

If you’re looking to play the game on higher settings or touch higher frame rates, the recommended settings are a good ballpark. The parts required for these machines are around mid-spec PCs from the previous hardware generation. If you have a mid-spec PC from the COVID era, then you’ll have no issues at all running this game.

Hopefully, that helps you with some context on how your parts will fare heading into the Nightingale early access launch. Of course, there will be further game optimizations as it progresses through its EA development, so you may find your experience improves from patch to patch.

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
