Nightingale

Viktor Frankenstein's Location in Nightingale

By
Craig Robinson

Viktor Frankenstein is one of the quest NPCs that players can find in various realms in Nightingale. This NPC is pretty important, as it gives you a few extra quests, is handy for increasing your Hope, and gives you more ways to complete the main questline peacefully and grab those lucrative achievements if you’re interested. If that’s the case, then visiting Viktor Frankenstein’s location in Nightingale is something you will want to do, and complete his questlines.

Here is everything you need to know on Viktor Frankenstein in Nightingale.

Where to Find Viktor Frankenstein in Nightingale

To find Viktor Frankenstein’s location in Nightingale, players must combine the Desert and the Astrolabe cards together at a realm portal. Make sure to complete the Astrolabe Site of Power and grab the card to do so.

Once you’re in the Desert Astrolabe realm, Viktor Frankenstein’s base will procedurally generate somewhere in an open desert area. You can check the map and find the NPC icon on the map to indicate where you’ll find Viktor Frankenstein’s location.

You’ll find a few quests you can do when you arrive at his location. The first quest you’ll need is the bound materials, several for each type of Bound creature you fight. We have guides on getting the Yew Lumber, Hollow Metal Ingots, and Petrified Ichor. You’ll get these from the more advanced Bound enemies that spawn in the higher realmscore worlds, so, if you’re going to Viktor Frankenstein early, keep in mind you’ve got a bit of grind to work your way through. If you’re going to him late, it’s likely not that hard of a quest to progress through. Go to a Gloom World, and then use mob spawning realm cards so you can easily start farming those materials you need for Viktor.

After that quest is done, he’ll task you with grabbing some Automaton Rook Gears and other materials for the questlines to come. Following this, you are sent to other NPC Quest locations, such as Danu, to complete that content. This leads then into the Sun Giant questline, which is part of the Nellie Bly quest. All in all, it’s very worth going to Viktor Frankenstein’s questlines as they help towards the peaceful achievement questline versions of the game.

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
