Nightingale

All Enchantments in Nightingale

By
Matt Chard

In Nightingale there are numerous ways to enhance your character whether that be through better gear, Infusions, Charms, or Enchantments. Where most of the other enhancements offer you passive skills, enchantments offer you active skills; one could say magic. When you apply an enchantment to a weapon or tool, it’ll get that effect, allowing you to cast the applied enchantment. There are currently 18 enchantments in Nightingale that offer you the ability to heal, deal damage, summon, and much more. Find out below every enchantment in the game and where you can get them.

Enchantments allow you to cast spells when applied to your weapons.

Enchantment Locations

All Enchantments are listed chronologically and can be crafted at the various tiers of the Enchanter’s Focus (Simple, Refined, and Excellent). To craft the Weak, Moderate, and Powerful Seals, you can craft them at the Masonry Bench: Weak = Simple, Moderate = Refined, and Powerful = Excellent. Note that some of these recipes can be purchased elsewhere, but the locations listed below are the first places you can purchase them.

How to Apply and Use Enchantments

Using Enchantments is relatively simple once you know how. Simply craft the enchantment and then MouseRightButton it in your inventory. Select Apply and place it on the weapon of your choice. You can have up to three Enchantments equipped per weapon, but this is dependent on the rarity of said weapon. For example, an uncommon weapon can only have one enchantment, while an epic weapon can have three. Once you have the enchantments equipped, select the weapon on your hot bar, and press R-Key to activate it. Now, press MouseLeftButton to use the enchantment or hold MouseLeftButton to charge it up three times to enhance the effect. Finally, hold down R-Key to change between those weapon enchantments.

That’s all there is to it. There is a respectable amount of Enchantments for Early Access with possibly many more to be added at launch, but until then you have more than enough to deal with the current threats in the game.

Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
