The sole survivor of the Great Chasm which destroyed his home town of Norende, Tiz met Agnes and learned of her quest to restore the crystals and then joined her soon after. After saving the world, Tiz releases the Celestial Being that was keeping him alive and falls into a deep coma.
Two years later, Yew, Edea and Magnolia find a way to revive Tiz whose body is being held captive inside Eternian headquarters. They succeed in freeing him and he wakes up soon after. After learning of Agnes’s fate and Kaiser Oblivion’s plans, Tiz lends his strength to the cause and joins the fight
