|True Canaan Waymarker|
Make sure to prepare for a fight and save before you talk to the Spirius Agents by the Inn in Reize Harbor to summon the Land of Canaan.
That’s right, people! It’s a moon with a fetus shadow inside it. Of course Chronos won’t just let you walk right into the Land of Canaan and has no problem trying to stop you.
Boss: Chronos (2)
The fight with Chronos is actually two stages:
In the first stage Chronos is similar to the previous time you fought him at Dimensional Breach, only this time be comes with Chronos Bits. Because the Chronos Bits are invincible you will want to focus on Chronos and induce a weakness by using Power Charge 2. Chronos primearily uses Chronos Collider, which knocks back your party, and Tetra Spell, which is capable of causing petrify. When Chronos reaches 50% health the game with trigger a cutscene.
In the second stage Chronos will continue to summon Chronos Bits, but this time you will want to destroy them first.
As before Chronos will use Tetra Spell, but this time the petrification will cause you to take extra damage from his new attack Chronos Laser. In addition, Chronos uses Cage of Torment, which creates pillars of light that remain in the arena for a while and will immobilize your character. When Chronos’ HP reaches 50% he will use Time Compression to rewind time and regenerate his life. The only way to interrupt this is to transform into a Chromatus to stop the rewind and allow you to defeat Chronos.
After Elle says she doesn’t want to go to Canaan anymore and runs off, Bisley basically says Ludger is no longer needed. Screw you Bisley!
After all the scenes you’ll gain the True Canaan Waymarker and can head for the Marksburg Station to reach Trigleph.
