Head straight for where the breach used to be and encounter the famed Chronos.

Boss: Chronos

Weakness: None

Nothing like taking on the equivalent of a God. This enemy is deadly and strong with no weakness at first, later cycling weaknesses to make the battle more fun. At the start you'll want to link with Alvin to break through the enemy's guard and go to town with the sledgehammer.

There are a bunch of moves to watch out for, all of which do some kind of status ailment. Terra Spell has a long cast that makes it look like the time to go to town on the boss, but this is actually the worst thing to do as Chronos will counterattack after a few hits. Trinity Bit is what you want, as this will create three bits that when destroyed will imbue Chronos with weakness. Fight defensively when Chronos is not weak to anything and watch out for Over Limit and you should be fine.

Watch out for Chronos' Tetra Spell and attack after he uses Trinity Bit.

After the fight you'll get a scene with a familar old pal.

Question: The pocketwatch! Give it to me!

  • L1 - Hand over the pocketwatch. (Julius Affinity + 500)
  • R1 - Refuse.
