After the Mission: Priority Citadel II, you’ll receive the Mission Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery which is gained from the Mesana Distress Signal. The scenes in the Mission will play out differently, providing Samara survived in Mass Effect 2.
Choice: Samara, alive or not
At the end of the Mission, you’ll escape the Monastery with Falere, who is one of Samara’s daughters, if Samara survived the Suicide Mission in Mass Effect 2 she’ll also be in the scene, and it can have a dramatic change to the last scene.
Choice: Samara is Alive
If Samara is alive, she’ll tell you that the Ardat Yakshi are not allowed to live outside the Monastery, because to the Justicar Code doesn’t allow it. She’ll put a pistol to her head, and try to commit suicide, so she doesn’t have to kill her last daughter, Falere. You’ll get a Paragon interrupt to stop her, and if you miss the prompt, she’ll kill herself, leaving you to decide the fate of Falere. If you saved Samara, she’ll become a War Asset, and Falere will choose to stay at the Monastery.
Choice: Samara is Dead
If Samara died in Mass Effect 2, or you fail to save her in this scene. You’ll have to decide what to do with Falere. This will give you three choices: “Are you sure?”, “I can’t let you live”, and “You’re too dangerous”. “Are you sure?” will spare her life, whilst the other two choices will lead to you killing her with a Renegade interrupt prompt.
