Conan Exiles Shadebloom Location & Uses

By
Jacob Woodward

Conan Exiles has a whole host of materials that you can harvest from the land, that when used in combination with other ingredients, can create some really useful consumables, hopefully aiding your long-term survival.

"Shadebloom" iconShadebloom in Conan Exiles is just that and is extremely useful for a couple of different reasons. With this guide, we’ll be exploring where to find Shadebloom, providing you with the exact location where you can pick some up. We’ll also discuss its uses so you’re aware of what you’re able to do with it.

Where to Find Shadebloom in Conan Exiles

If you’ve been on the hunt for Shadebloom in Conan Exiles and haven’t managed to come across any, you’re not alone here. This is because Shadebloom is only found in one area of The Exiled Lands - within a dungeon.

More specifically, you’re going to be heading into the "Midnight Grove" iconMidnight Grove dungeon, and to reach this place, you’ll have to acquire a Potion of Midnight. This potion is picked up outside the entrance (Map Marker) from the werewolf-looking creature in exchange for 5 "Feral Flesh" iconFeral Flesh. Once bought, use the potion quickly as you’ll have a limited time to make it into the Midnight Grove.

At this point, you’re probably thinking you’ve done the hard part and you’ll simply be able to harvest some Shadebloom with ease. However, sadly, this is not the case, and instead, you’re actually going to need to kill a few bosses in this area to have the chance of acquiring Shadebloom.

Once you dispatch any of the bosses, simply harvest their corpse and you’ll have a chance of Shadebloom dropping. The final boss here will always provide you with Shadebloom, so if you’re having a hard time, you’ll always have a backup at the end of the area.

And that’s all there is to it in acquiring Shadebloom. Sadly this is the only option for picking up the material so if you want to farm it, you will have to keep coming back here.

Shadebloom Uses in Conan Exiles

Once you’ve netted yourself some Shadebloom following the above locations, you’ll now probably want to know what kind of recipes you’ll be throwing it into. This will enable you to get the most out of this material and ensure you’re not wasting it on lesser products when a more vital item could be created.

Naturally, akin to other plants in Conan Exiles, Shadebloom is widely used in a plethora of cooking recipes of which can be subsequently provided to animals. When created, all of these foods don the ‘Shadespiced’ name and provide an enhanced chance for the animal that eats it to become much larger and stronger.

Here are some examples of Shadespiced foods that can be created when you have combined Shadebloom:

The only other real use of Shadebloom is to use it with a combination of other ingredients to make the Claws of Jhebbal Sag, a legendary agility weapon. This weapon allows you to almost become a feral beast in your attacks, and can actually be infinitely repaired which is a pretty nice attribute to have.
