This is a Side Tale in the Iki Island Expansion for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut. These are completely optional but if you’re aiming for all Trophies, must be completed towards that goal.
Board Fune’s Ship
This Side Tale will not become available until you’ve completed Epilogue: Last Words, the final Main Tale of the Iki Island Expansion. Once complete, return to Fune’s Refuge and you’ll find her strategizing with her men about another raid so speak with her to begin this Tale.
You’ll learn that her daughter is on board the ship they wish to raid and enlists Jin’s aid to resuce her quietly. You’ll be given the option of socializing with the crew or heading straight to the ship to wait, there is no reward for spending time with the crew but if you wish to do so, here is where:
- The bonfire
- Outside Fune’s building
- Inside Fune’s building
- Behind Fune’s building
Regardless of what you choose to do, head to Fune’s ship and rest on the floor, when you awake, head over and speak to Fune. Once she’s on the move, follow her to reach her scout out on the beach to learn what’s up ahead.
Defeat the Mongols
Follow the path up ahead and head up the slope to get a great vantage point for taking enemy Archers out with your Longbow. Once they’re dealt with, use the rope to wait for a Mongol to pass under and Air Assassinate him to get the raid underway. You have more than enough allies with you that it’s worth foregoing stealth here, make use of Kunai and Sticky Bombs and focus on the Shamans down at the camp before rushing the boat. On the left side of the boat, you can use a Dance of Wrath to cut most of the enemies down leaving the upper level as the only place left with Mongols still alive.
Once all the Mongols are dead, speak with Fune and then release the prisoners and a scene will trigger. Once you regain control, you’ll need to contend with the mutinous raiders which is a lot easier than it may seem. They begin the battle bunched up, making it perfect for both Sticky Bombs and a Dance of Wrath, should any survive this onslaught, you should have your Ghost gauge filled and ready to let loose. Another scene will trigger following your victory, ending this Tale.
