FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time

True Radiance Trophy/Achievement Guide

The majority of the trophies and achievements in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time are pretty straightforward. However, some of them have descriptions that are a little confusing, like the True Radiance trophy/achievement. The text for this one simply says to “obtain a sparkling piece of special equipment,” which doesn’t really say much, as the game is full of equipment. What the game really wants you to do is craft a True Time piece of equipment, so read on to learn how to do just that.

You’ll need to craft a True Time piece of equipment to get this trophy/achievement.

Time Equipment Recipes

Before you can do anything, you’ll need access to Ginormosia, which happens during the course of the main story. Strewn across this giant map will be little pedestals that hold Legendary Recipes. These recipes, usually called “something” of Time, are for very strong weapons/equipment and require you to find some of the Legendary Events in Ginormosia. There are a total of 16 recipes to discover, one related to each of the Lives in the game, with two of the Lives having two each. The first step in obtaining this trophy is to get one of the equipment ones (there’s a cooking recipe and that won’t work here), so there are 15 options.

After finding one of the above recipes, you will need to craft it, which is where the Legendary Events come into play. These require you to get the various regions to Area Rank 3, before they can start spawning. For the case of the trophy/achievement, get the following regions to Area Rank 3:

  • West/East Dryridge Desert
  • Pettlewing Woods/Shroomhaven/Wingtip Valley
  • Crickneck Canyon/Drakeseye Valley/Drakesnout Range

The first one will spawn the Legendary Shiny Geode ("Legendary Shiny Diamond" iconLegendary Shiny Diamond), the second spawns the Legendary God Tree ("Legendary Divine Log" iconLegendary Divine Log), and the third gives the Legendary Don Woolie ("Legendary Don Horn" iconLegendary Don Horn). Each of the pieces of equipment from the recipes will involve two of the three, with you needing three of one item and one of another. There are other items involved, but those shouldn’t be as bad as the event related ones above. Note that you can quickly cycle events by going to any tower and changing the Area Rank. Also, Rank 3 is required for the events to start spawning, but they can be gotten at Ranks 1 and 2 afterwards.

(1 of 5) You’ll find pedestals with the Time weapon recipes on them throughout Ginormosia.

True Time Equipment Recipes

After you have finally gotten one of the Time pieces of equipment crafted, it’s time to move onto the next step, which is to get the True Time recipe. This is pretty easy, as it’s simply done by speaking to a specific NPC. Near most of the Settlements, there is a Plundering Panther NPC that usually alludes to a specific legendary event that can spawn in that region. However, if you have a Time weapon crafted and speak to it, the panther will remark on it and hand over a True Time version of the recipe.

This one will be a little more difficult to make, as it’ll require 10 each of the legendary event items, as well as some hard-to-find materials, some of which can only be gotten through the Treasure Grove-exclusive bosses. Additionally, the True Time versions will require a higher crafting stat (usually, about 1300 or so), so you’ll definitely want some respective Buddies to help with that. As soon as you craft the True Time version of the recipe, you will unlock the trophy/achievement.
