Starfield

All Crew Skills in Starfield

By
Matt Chard

In Starfield, your companions are not just there for romance, or to be a pack mule. Every one of them has a unique set of skills that they can use to aid you throughout your journey when assigned to your spaceship and Outpost. These skills can improve numerous things from boosting your cargo capacity, and improving your spaceship’s shields to various outpost improvements. If that isn’t enough for you, you can hire further crew from the planets you visit who can also be assigned to ships and outposts. Read below to find out what crew skills each companion has.

All Companions in Starfield

Before we start telling you what skills they have, you probably want to know who the main companions are. This list will split the companions into two groups, the core group whom you can romance, and then you have the other companions who can not be romanced but can still come out with you on missions, we’ll call these Side Companions.

(1 of 4) Sarah Morgan is the leader of Constellation, who will be the first core companion you get.

Core Companions

All of these companions can be romanced as well as playing a pivotal role in the story.

"Sarah Morgan" iconSarah Morgan Sarah is the first core companion to join you which will happen after you complete the story mission "The Old Neighborhood" iconThe Old Neighborhood. Sarah is the current leader of Constellation. She has dedicated all her time and has made it her life goal to find intelligent life or other unexplained phenomena to further the future of humanity.
"Barrett" iconBarrett Complete missions for the !Constellation faction, specifically the “"Back to Vectera" iconBack to Vectera” mission. This will begin the end of your time at Argos while giving you a new beginning with !Constellation.
"Andreja" iconAndreja You can recruit Andreja after completing the "Into the Unknown" iconInto the Unknown story mission. She will join up with you during the same mission, and be able to join you afterward. Andreja is a mysterious person who has problems sometimes fitting in with the crew. Starfield is an action role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios set in a futuristic interpretation of space exploration and colonization. Earth has long been abandoned, but there are plenty of other planets in different star systems where humans have ventured and settled. You have the freedom to create your own character with a unique background, but the main story will take you through a series of adventures as you uncover more information about mysterious artifacts which create gravitational anomalies. Along the way, you can build and customize your own space ship, establish your own outpost, befriend and romance new companions, and more. As a Bethesda game, you can also expect to see a lot of creative mods which have the potential to change your experience of the base game, or take it in an entirely new direction.
