What is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II¶
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a new addition to the franchise which released on October 28th, 2022. It’s a continuation from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which was developed by Infinity Ward and published on the 25th of October 2019. It comes packed with a variety of content, such as the graphically stunning Campaign , Spec Ops, and Multiplayer which offers a lot of maps and changes.
There are 16 Maps available at launch and they are split up into two categories, Core Maps and Ground War/Invasion Maps. Core Maps are your usual smaller 6v6 maps which are used for Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Domination and Free for All. Ground War/Invasion is on large-scale maps from the Warzone 2 Map. Additionally, the maps are split up into three regions, Al Mazrah is maps from the Warzone 2 Map, Las Almas is locations from the Campaign and Rest of the World.
