How to activate UAV Towers in DMZ¶
Activating UAV Towers in Warzone 2 is fairly simple. All you need to do is make your way to any UAV tower, which you can easily find on your tactical map. Open up the map, and check for the legend for the UAV Towers locations. There’s roughly one in every major region of the map, so there’s always something you can do no matter where you are or where you spawn. Some are easier to get to, while others have a hard climb or locked door in the way before you can get there.
Once you get to one of the UAV towers, you will activate a UAV within that region. Any players in the area will be notified that there is UAV in the region, If you happen to be in the region, then your position will be scanned by the squad that activated, so expect to be tracked and hunted for your loot. This also works in favor of the other players, who now know they are in danger and will expect fights.
It is also worth mentioning that this is one of the mercenary challenges you will need to complete. Check the mercenary tab and activate it before going in-game if you fancy notching this off one of your tasks.
