Janice is the reigning champion of the Grand Slam tournament held at the S.S. Zelbess.
How to Recruit¶

You can recruit Janice after receiving permission to enter the prohibited area of the S.S. Zelbess, where you fight the Sage of Marbule. Near the top, there’s a ladder that you can descend to reach the wonderful world of Grand Slam!
To curry Janice’s favor, you must clear all three rounds of the Grand Slam. Refer to our Grand Slam guide for help. After your third consecutive win, Janice will insist on joining you. If you refuse, re-enter the Grand Slam area and walk near Janice to receive her offer again.
