The Fighter is very strong, somewhat inaccurate (and frail) due to axes and clubs have innately low hit rate. However, they still can pack a punch and inaccuracy is easily remedied through forging. So rather than lament their low hit rates, let’s move on to other matters!
HP+5 stands out as an immediate selling point of the Fighter. +5 HP is surprisingly useful and noticeable, and is great for if your Fighter transitions into a class with innately low HP growths. Plus it can somewhat offset your low Defense. Gamble is a tricky skill: Is it worth lowering your already mediocre hit rates for an increased critical hit rate? This is most effective if using a Killer Axe, other types of clubs or axes won’t really benefit from Gamble that much.
