The Songstress is one of many special classes . It is neither a base class nor an advanced class and has a level cap of Level 40 . As a result, skills are learned at the following levels: 1, 10, 25, and 35 . From a special class you can reclass to another advanced class without problem, however. Note that Azura is the only Songstress in the game.

Since the Songstress isn’t meant to attack, but to use its exclusive command Sing , which grants the target ally another turn to move, growth rates (which are low and very fragile) can be easily ignored. The passive skills are really great for quietly mitigating damage in the background, but having to be within two tiles kind of stinks and puts Azura at range of being attacked, where her low health and paper-thin defenses will easily do her in. Inspiring Song is really awesome though, you should definitely keep this equipped when Azura is a Songstress to bolster stats.

There’s not much to say. The Songstress doesn’t look like much on paper, but being a refresher is worth millions, so definitely keep her around.
