You can burn down ALL the trees!
As you look at the map, you’ll note that it is once again, full of Dragon Veins. This will burn down impassable forest into movement-restricting “woods”. Flying units and Fujin Yumi-wielding Takumi will be able to ignore this, however. Just beware all the bow users scattered about the map to make their day a little bit harder than need be. There are, as usual, a lot of chests around, so make sure you bring Locktouch users.
The basic strategy here is to have a core team burning down parts of the forest, uncovering pockets of enemies and taking them out. Make sure that you have royals aside from your Avatar in this map. Then have allies follow you behind, cleaning up and covering your flank.
For those curious, here is the map with every Vein triggered (this took forever too).
There are a couple of reinforcements in this map, they aren’t infinite but they will appear to try and be annoying. Take them out or hurry on ahead to face the boss. If you want to see what the map looks like without all the trees, be patient and take your time as you burn down everything! FIRE!!!
Something to note is that the top right chest contains Excalibur , a Tome for S-rank tome users. Don’t forget it!
Boss fight!!!
The boss, the same Strategist will have the same weaknesses. She does carry a tome with her that will debuff your army and prevent them from using magic. She will target any of your own healers so beware. Pierce through her low Defense and then Seize the tile she is standing on.
