Hostile Settlement takeovers are almost identical to the Headquarters missions, but instead of killing gangs and assassins, you’ll be taking down members of the French army. As with the Headquarters, these missions require you to brave a restricted area to complete a series of objectives in order to liberate the area. These side-tasks will be unlocked and available to undertake once you have completed memory sequence 3-01 ‘The Colour of Right’.
Capturing each Settlement will grant you a large amount of cash and resources of each type. Taking over will also unlock all of the stores, taverns and renovation options for the region that were previously inaccessible. There are eight hostile settlements in total with four being located in the North Atlantic region and another four in the River Valley map.
Entering and taking over all of the settlements will earn you the achievement/trophy ‘I’ll Take That’.
Assassin's Creed Rogue takes us to 18th Century North America where we'll be braving the icy waters of the North Atlantic, the bustling streets of New York and the greenery of River Valley. This time around however, things are a little different for the series as we'll be taking on the role of an assassin turned Templar and get to view the clandestine war from a fresh set of eyes and a different viewpoint. In our extensive Assassin’s Creed Rogue guide, we'll take you through the game from beginning to end, show you how to handle all those secondary memories and just about everything else the game has to offer!
Our guide includes:
Every story mission (and how to get FULL Synch for each one!).
