Another day, another band of weirdos dancing in the streets on Kyo, and wherever these suspiciously trendy social protests pop up, unscrupulous hooligans will follow, seeking to take advantage of the commotion and anonymity provided by the crowd. This page will provide a walkthrough for Substory 22 - Ee Ja Not Ka in Like a Dragon: Ishin!.

How to Start the Substory Ee Ja Not Ka in Like a Dragon: Ishin!

Substory 22 - Ee Ja Not Ka can be started in Chapter 3. In fact, there’s a good chance you’ll bump into it accidentally while exploring Rakugai. If you approach the dancing mob along the western end of Sannocho, in front of the Scarecrow Chateau building. Ryoma will notice that an Old Woman has been jostled by the overly boisterous dancers, and decide to take it upon himself to teach them some manners!

How to Defeat the Ruffians During Substory Ee Ja Not Ka

Ryoma will confront a Dance-Loving Man, whose energetic dancing has apparently awakened more violent desires in him. Given the circumstances, it doesn’t take much goading to provoke Ryoma, following which you’ll find yourself in a fight with six Ruffians. Statistically they’re nothing special, but they are numerous, and you start out surrounded. You’ll need to quickly leap to the attack to thin your enemy numbers before things get messy - expending some Heat early on may make the rest of the fight easier. Or, if you switch to the Wild Dancer, you can just twirl out of trouble, make some distance, and dispatch whatever enemy charges at you. Try to concentrate fire as much as possible and once you’ve picked off an enemy or two this shouldn’t be any more difficult than the Ruffians you can encounter wandering the streets of Kyo.

After a good beating, the inconsiderate dancing ruffians will give you some Vermillion Fabric and apologize before scampering off. The Old Lady, on the other hand, offers cheap words as thanks. Worse, she even expresses sympathy for the dancers! No good deed… Oh well, you’ll still earn 450 Virtue for your efforts.
