Lost Sphear

Jarrod Garripoli

An adventurous young lad, and both Kanata’s and Lumina’s best friend.

Kanata’s childhood friend and resident of Elgarthe. Though younger than both Kanata and Lumina, he has more zest for life than both of the put together. Where there is an adventure to be had, he leads the way, and though he gives the impression of being the oil to their water, deep down there’s nobody he trusts more than them. Great with his hands, he can fashion all sorts of gadgets, such as his Crossbow, a handy weapon against monsters.

Locke is an interesting character that might seem average, but a few of his skills stand out and make him a great addition to any team. Potentiate allows you to use any item in battle and have it applied to all characters, so you could use potions to heal everyone. This skill alone makes Locke a great support character, since you can use Panaceas to cure all ailments, instead of doing it one-by-one. Fever Roll makes it so you can use money to help deal a set amount of damage, as it isn’t affected by defenses, although the max you can deal with it is 1,000 damage.

What makes Spray Shot such a great skill is that it is one of two skills that is perfect for linking with a Death Boost momentum spritnite. The reason for this is that it hits all enemies and it hits multiple times (minimum of two and a maximum of five). Overload can buff all of your stats, but it appears that while this is active, you will take damage from performing actions. You might think Spirit Ray might be better for Death Boost over Spray Shot, but it’s only a single-target skill. Lastly, Break Shot can be used before a big attack, as it makes the next attack more damaging.
