Finish an Era with a Swamp Village which has 100 Village Prosperity
To build a Swamp Village we’re going to need a swamp. Do the Ocean Giant thing and make an Ocea, then select your Swamp Giant and place a Swamp stretching the full 13 tiles leading in a direction away from the Ocean. Proceed to place your first resource the prescribed three or four tiles ‘into’ the territory and your village will be along to set up in no time.
Swamp Villages sway towards predominant use of Tech so you’ll be relying largely on your Swamp and Rock Giants to further their development. The Swamp Giant’s Tech heavy plants marry up with the Rock Giants minerals and, as such, they are your biggest aide when bulking up a Swamp Village.
Tech is the grand enabler when it comes to Swamp villages and your best early combination is Peppermint (Swamp Giant’s Exotic Plant) sandwiched in between two of the Rock Giant’s Marble (Advanced Minerals). It then pays off to place another Marble next to this Marble to take advantage of that resource’s symbiosis while it’s inside the village’s borders.
Follow these steps and you should easily complete your first project and breach 100 prosperity, but if you need to support any more construction then build the appropriate resources:
|**Required Source**||**Giant Power**|
|Food||Forest Giant Plants, Ocean Giant Animals|
|Wealth||Rock Giant Precious Minerals, Swamp Giant Animals|
|Tech||Rock Giant Advanced Minerals, Swamp Giant Plants|
As with the other Tribe developments this is, truth be told, particularly easy. Especially if you follow the Marble, Peppermind, Marble setup described above. If you are struggling then look at your project’s specialization as well, as thesecan often give a boost upwards of 50 resources even in this early stage of the game.
