Disgaea 6 Complete

Armor Knight Evilities List

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Evilities have been a mechanic in the Disgaea series since they debuted in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. They are passive abilities that can be equipped to your characters, with a wide ranged of effects. This page will list all of the Evilities that unlock for the Armor Knight class, as well as point out any standout Evilities that can be good for builds.

In order to get the Common Evilities from the Classes for other characters, you will need to increase the Class Proficiency for that characters through the subclass system. For example, if you wish to get the Warrior Evilities for Zed, then you need to set the Warrior as his subclass and rank it up, then purchase them from the Skill Shop. Every class has five Common Evilities, with each rank adding an additional Evility to the shop, so you need at least Rank 5 to get all of the Common Evilities from a single class.

(1 of 4) You need to earn stars as the subclass to unlock their Evilities

As far as Unique Evilities go, each of the classes will have one that will be stuck on that character and cannot be changed out at all. In order to get the classes’ Unique Evilities on other characters, you will first need to master that class through the subclass system. After doing that, you will then need to unlock an Unique Evility slot for that character. For more information on that, visit the How to Unlock More Evility Slots page.

Armor Knight’s Unique Evility

The Armor Knight’s Unique Evility is called Hero’s Shield, and it makes it so the Armor Knight will take the attack of adjacent allies whenever the Knight is defending. This has the potential to be a very good Evility, if you are making a character that is going to be a defensive powerhouse. Just put on any defense-related Common Evilities (like Advance Guard) to make this even better.

List of Common Evilities (Armor Knight)

Icon Common Evility Description Mana Cost Slots
D6_Super_Guts_Icon.png Synch Guard When defending, decrease damage taken by adjacent ally units by 10% 100 3
D6_Super_Guts_Icon.png Advance Guard When defending, decrease damage taken by 50% 250 4
D6_Hold_Line_Icon.png Hold the Line When defending, enemy units cannot enter within 2 panels left or right of this unit 1,000 4
D6_Blasting_Fist_Icon.png Swift Stance When defending, always counter-attack (Max 20 times) 2,500 4
D6_Hold_Line_Icon.png Defensive Stance Always defend when attacked from the front or side 5,000 4

The Armor Knight has a few Common Evilities that stand out here, with all of them revolving around the character defending. Synch Guard is ok and affects your adjacent allies, allowing them to take a little less damage. Advance Guard is a huge one, though, since the unit defending will take 50% less damage. Hold the Line doesn’t really do much, but it could prevent enemies from passing the unit, making it slightly safer for allies behind them. If you have a counter-attack build, then Swift Stance can help you always counter-attack on that character. Defensive Stance makes it so any attack from the front or side will trigger the Defend command, which works very well with other Evilities.
