Evilities have been a mechanic in the Disgaea series since they debuted in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. They are passive abilities that can be equipped to your characters, with a wide ranged of effects. This page will list all of the Evilities that unlock for the Psychic class, as well as point out any standout Evilities that can be good for builds.
In order to get the Common Evilities from the Classes for other characters, you will need to increase the Class Proficiency for that characters through the subclass system. For example, if you wish to get the Warrior Evilities for Zed, then you need to set the Warrior as his subclass and rank it up, then purchase them from the Skill Shop. Every class has five Common Evilities, with each rank adding an additional Evility to the shop, so you need at least Rank 5 to get all of the Common Evilities from a single class.
As far as Unique Evilities go, each of the classes will have one that will be stuck on that character and cannot be changed out at all. In order to get the classes’ Unique Evilities on other characters, you will first need to master that class through the subclass system. After doing that, you will then need to unlock an Unique Evility slot for that character. For more information on that, visit the How to Unlock More Evility Slots page.
Psychic’s Unique Evility
The Psychic’s Unique Evility is called Psychic Force, making it so after the unit with it attacks, the stats of the target will decrease by 10% for three turns. This has the potential to be a good Evility, although there are definitely better ones out there. Should you use a character with this Evility, then you will want to make them attack first (or second, if using the other Evilities that should be used first), since follow-up attacks can use the decrease in stats.
List of Common Evilities (Psychic)
|Icon||Common Evility||Description||Mana Cost||Slots|
|Psychokinesis||Increase lift range by 1||100||1|
|Shock Wave||Normal attacks knock targets back 1 panel||250||2|
|Psychic Shackles||Decrease movement of targeted units by 2 (Lasts 3 turns)||1,000||3|
|Brainwash Wave||After attacking, 10% chance of charming target unit||2,500||4|
|Teleport||Can ignore height and obstacles while moving||5,000||5|
Overall, the Psychic’s Common Evilities are kind of on the weaker side. The first two aren’t really going to do much in the grand scheme of things, while the fourth one can be easily outclassed by simply equipping the appropriate Innocent. Teleport might be good earlier on, when you don’t have a lot of Jump, but once you get into the endgame, it doesn’t really matter much. Psychic Shackles has the chance to be good, provided you put it on someone with a ranged attack, since that means you could potentially kite the enemy without it ever touching you.
