Evilities have been a mechanic in the Disgaea series since they debuted in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. They are passive abilities that can be equipped to your characters, with a wide ranged of effects. This page will list all of the Evilities that unlock for the Witch class, as well as point out any standout Evilities that can be good for builds.
In order to get the Common Evilities from the Classes for other characters, you will need to increase the Class Proficiency for that characters through the subclass system. For example, if you wish to get the Warrior Evilities for Zed, then you need to set the Warrior as his subclass and rank it up, then purchase them from the Skill Shop. Every class has five Common Evilities, with each rank adding an additional Evility to the shop, so you need at least Rank 5 to get all of the Common Evilities from a single class.
As far as Unique Evilities go, each of the classes will have one that will be stuck on that character and cannot be changed out at all. In order to get the classes’ Unique Evilities on other characters, you will first need to master that class through the subclass system. After doing that, you will then need to unlock an Unique Evility slot for that character. For more information on that, visit the How to Unlock More Evility Slots page.
Witch’s Unique Evility
The Witch’s Unique Evility is called Magic Moderation, and it could be one of the better Unique Evilities you could put on a character. With this equipped, the character will use 50% less SP whenever they use special attacks. This can be incredibly useful if you’re spamming the special attacks, meaning you can use twice as many, especially if you have leveled a particular skill to an extraordinary cost. It’s not the best Unique Evility that can be passed around, but it’s certainly a good one.
List of Common Evilities (Witch)
|Icon||Common Evility||Description||Mana Cost||Slots|
|Caster||Increase SP by 5%, INT by 5%, and RES by 5%||100||1|
|Expand||Increase spell area by 1||250||2|
|Damage Convert||Increase INT by 10% when attacked (Max 100%)||1,000||3|
|Magic Collection||Recover SP equal to 5% of damage dealt||2,500||4|
|Overflowing Magic||When remaining SP is 50% or more, increase attack power for specials by 30%||5,000||5|
The only two worthwhile Common Evilities for the Witch are the last two. Magic Collection allows you to gain back some SP you use and if you dealt a lot of damage, then you might get back more than what you spent in the first place, essentially giving you infinite SP. Overflowing Magic can be used in conjunction with Magic Collection, since you need to keep above that 50% threshold to make your specials stronger.
