The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero

Intermission - Crossbell

By
Ben Chard

This page covers everything you can do in Crossbell and the surrounding areas during the Intermission in The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. Details on how to find every missable Request during this short chapter.

The Intermission focuses on introducing KeA to Crossbell.

Before you can get started with Chapter 4, a short Intermission will take place, introducing you and the residents of Crossbell to the energetic KeA. For those of you who enjoy speaking to everyone in Crossbell (and the surrounding areas), this Intermission is a treasure trove. Nearly ever resident has something new to say and there are plenty of optional events involving KeA and some of the key characters in Trails from Zero. Due to this, we won’t be pointing these out and will leave it up to you to speak to whoever you’re interested in.

There’s still a short main quest to follow during the Intermission, and there are also three hidden Requests that you can easily miss so keep on reading to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

Exploring Crossbell with KeA

From the outset, you’ll have an important choice to make, who to bring with you for the Intermission. If you’re looking to get all Bond endings in a single playthrough, then choose whoever you didn’t choose in the Prologue or Chapter 3 Day 4. Otherwise, choose whoever you think will make the monster extermination request easier (Randy will make life a lot easier).

(1 of 3) Be sure to choose whoever you didn’t choose in the Prologue or Chapter 3 Day 4

Before you leave the SSS, be sure to head to the roof to give Coppe his fish for this Chapter, you should have a lot more choices now after completing the fishing log in Chapter 3. With that out of the way, make your way to the Times Department Store in Central Square and pick up Crossbell Times - Issue 6 (Book) from the general store inside. Head on over to West Street next and visit Tallys’ General Store to discover that Back Alley Doctor Glenn - Ch.11 (Book) is on sale here.

And with those purchases out of the way, you can now focus on taking care of the first two hidden requests of this chapter. Begin by heading to the CPD and speak with Receptionist Rebecca twice to learn and add to your notebook, the Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination hidden request. Note that you’ll only have your partner available for this Request, so prepare accordingly.

(1 of 3) Speak to Rebecca twice to get the Geofront A2 Monster Extermination Request

With the first hidden request down, make your way to the Administrative District once more and go into City Hall. Head upstairs and enter the room on the left to find Mayor McDowell. Once you regain control, head back downstairs and KeA suggests a gift for the Mayor as thanks for all the hard work he has to endure. Receptionist Shion suggests that his favorite drink may be a good starting place and you’ll register the A Treat for the Mayor hidden Request.

That’s two hidden requests down, but you’ll need to wait a little before the third is available. To continue with the story, head for East Street and pay the Bracer’s Guild a visit to trigger more scenes with Estelle and Lloyd. During the conversation, the suggestion of the church and their spiritual healing powers comes into question.

With that in mind, head out the northern exit of Crossbell and go east into the Crossbell Cathedral. Go into the main building and then go right to find Sister Marble who will attempt to help with KeA’s amnesia. Unfortunately, this only provides a small clue, but Sister Marble does bring up the option of paying a visit to St. Ursula Medical College and seeing if they can help.

Leave the cathedral and enter Crossbell to trigger another scene with Ryu and Anri. Before you continue to St. Ursula Medical College, it’s time to tackle the final hidden request of the chapter. Return to the Cathedral and to the room where you spoke with Sister Marble to find that Sunday School is about to start. Speak with Sister Marble and you’ll be given the opportunity for Lloyd to be a guest lecturer, starting the Sunday School Guest Lecturer hidden request.

St. Ursula Medical College

With this third and final hidden request complete, you’ve done everything you can in the Intermission. Return to Crossbell and take the bus from the southern exit to St. Ursula Medical College per the recommendation from Sister Marble at Crossbell Cathedral.

Head to the fishing spot to find KeA with Shizuku.

Once you regain control outside, head forward to run into Cecile and the group will relocate to the Inn. Once you regain control, head up to 3F and head around and out to the roof. Go right and examine the door to the research wing and choose the top option. Following the scenes, KeA will run off so make your way back outside and head right towards the fishing spot to find her with Shizuku. Watch the scenes that follow, and this short Intermission will come to an end.
